Greenroom is Now Walk West

Triangle Digital Marketing Agency Walk West Merges with Greenroom Communications, Expands Team and Services

RALEIGH, N.C. – Jan. 6, 2017 – Walk West, a local award-winning digital marketing agency, is merging with Raleigh-based Greenroom Communications. Specializing in video production, professional development, social media marketing, and SEO services, Greenroom brings a diverse range of new talent and client offerings to Walk West. Sharon Delaney McCloud, former WNCN-TV anchor and managing partner of Greenroom, joins as partner at Walk West. Viral video personalities and Greenroom managing partners Penn and Kim Holderness also join the team as advisors, along with seven additional employees.

This merger further showcases Walk West’s explosive growth over the past two years, skyrocketing from three employees to now more than 30. Greenroom staff will join the Walk West team at its new office on N.C. State University’s Centennial Campus and merge as one agency under the Walk West name.

“The marriage of Walk West and Greenroom felt natural from the start. We worked with Greenroom before and the energy we shared was electric,” said Founder and CEO Brian Onorio. “The talent Greenroom brings to Walk West is truly first class. Sharon has an amazing vision for the future of our agency and we look forward to bolstering our current services with our expanded team, while also adding new services that significantly increase what we can do for our clients. The sky’s the limit.”

Walk West focuses on a highly effective “digital first” approach. This includes discovery research, web design and development, social media marketing, SEO, SEM, content marketing, and strategy services, as well as digital issue advocacy and lobbying. By merging with Greenroom, the united forces enhance the agency’s capabilities with Emmy Award winning video production built on a collective 75 years in broadcasting experience. The team can create a narrative about any product or service that includes stunning video, images and graphics in a high-quality digital production. Additionally, new professional development services include media training, presentation coaching, on-camera training and workplace communication.

“We get to tell our clients’ stories together and in many new verticals as a stronger, cohesive agency,” said Sharon Delaney McCloud, VP of Professional Development and partner at Walk West. “Our companies’ services complemented each other so well that it made sense to merge as one. Walk West produces such beautiful work in the digital space and, with our teams’ skills combined, we will only enrich our clients’ results even more. We are positioned to be the modern digital agency of the Triangle and beyond.”

Greenroom previously partnered with clients in a wide variety of industries, including architects and construction, healthcare, entertainment brands, educational institutions, nonprofits, real estate, technology and more. Clients have included H&R Block, Fox Home Entertainment, Target and UNC Hospitals to name a few. Likewise, Walk West has always prided itself on its capability to deliver impactful results to companies within any industry.
